About Me

Santana Dempsey is a multi-racial: Black, Latinx, White, Indigenous actress and audiobook narrator specializing in character driven-stories that live in the quiet, complicated spaces of identity and connection. Her work is grounded, present and emotionally precise, with a focus on characters navigating belonging, desire and self-definition.Adopted out of foster care at six alongside her biological sister, Santana developed an early understanding of story as both refuge and agency. That lived experience informs her connection to narratives that challenge convention...stories that explore nontraditional paths to love, family, independence, and the many ways we choose to build a life on our own terms.She is particularly drawn to spicy romance, YA, and non-fiction.Santana spends her time between LA and NYC and enjoys solo travel abroad and painting.
